A case ofa30year old p6+t1 patient witIt carcinoma oftlte cervix presenting as severe Post partumliaemorrhage is presented. Resuscitation witlt intravenous fluids and blood tran, lusion was done. Subsequent examination under anaesthesia revealed a bleeding clinical Ilia cancer of tlte cervix, fi·om wltich biopsy was taken and haemorrhage arrested with figure of 8 stitches and tempomry vagina/packing. Tlte patient was subsequently referretlwith tlte histology report for radiotherapy
